THE DRILLING AND SAWING ASSOCIATION

The DSA is the only organisation in the UK that represents the needs of the diamond drilling and sawing industry.

It defines the standards of work carried out in this specialist area through:-

OPERATOR ACCREDITATION

Members have operators who possess Certificates of Competence in Diamond Drilling and Sawing. As holders of CSCS or DSA cards operators have been assessed as competent in the use of specialist diamond cutting equipment, have undertaken an NVQ in drilling and sawing, or have been assessed under the DSA Assessment Scheme. By using D.S.A. Members you are taking all practical steps to ensure your work is carried out safely and to the correct standard. Members have operators who have undergone training and/or testing in Site Health and Safety Procedures.

TRAINING

The DSA has recently introduced a specialist Apprenticeship Training Scheme for Drilling and Sawing Operators. The scheme is open to both members and non-members. INSURANCE

DSA members are required to carry specific levels of Employer and Liability Insurance cover at all times, and are audited annually.
