From April 2015, there will be changes to the statutory levels for sick pay, maternity, paternity and adoption pay, and shared parental pay.

 

Maternity, Paternity and Adopotion Pay
Until 4 April 2015 – £138.18 per week
From 5 April 2015 – £139.58 per week or 90% of the employee’s average weekly earnings, if this figure is lower than the Government’s set weekly rate

Shared Parental Pay
Until 4 April 2015 – £138.18 per week
From 5 April 2015 – £139.58 per week or 90% of the employee’s average weekly earnings, if this figure is lower than the Government’s set weekly rate

Until 5 April 2015
From 6 April 2015
Sick Pay
Until 5 April 2015 – £87.55 per week
From 6 April 2015 – £88.45 per week
 

Shared parental pay and leave is available for employees with babies due on or after 5 April 2015 and for employees who are adopting where the child is placed for adoption on or after that date. For further information on entitlement to shared parental leave and pay, visit the Gov.uk website.
