HSE is currently reviewing the regulations concerning the control of hazardous and dangerous substances in the workplace, with the aim of:
“making these more simple and straightforward without reducing the level of protection”
If you work with hazardous or dangerous substances or advise others HSE would like to hear about your experiences through an online survey which closes on Tuesday 18th October 2016.

Background
The survey will gather information from those who use the regulations or advise those who do to inform the review. The review covers:
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH)
- Control of Lead at work Regulations (CLAW) and
- Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR).
